Each summer during the first week of August, the Our Lady of the Valley community comes together to facilitate a fair booth at the Union County Fair. Parishioners support the effort by serving in a leadership role as the main organizers, serving on the fair booth committee, preparing the booth, working in the booth, counting money, closing down the booth, and donating food items.
Many parishioners and community members enjoyed stopping by the booth for all meals of the day or snacks, including pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy, hamburgers, hotdogs, fresh fruit, pies, and refreshing drinks! Thank you to everyone who contributed in different ways to make the 2016 fair booth a success!
