On Saturday, November 19 the Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Women hosted their annual Holiday Bazaar. Starting at 9 a.m., many community members were waiting and excited for the doors to open so they could enjoy a warm meal or buy crafts, sweets, and other items for sale.
The event is the women’s group’s main fundraiser for the year to support their service to supply hosts, wine, candles, and decorations for the altar throughout the year, which costs over $8,000 annually. The event would not be possible without the dedication of many who support the event by making crafts by hand, advertising, planning, donating items or sweets, decorating, setting up and organizing the hall, and volunteering during the event.
